When we got to my parents house my sister's kids were asleep and I went into the room to give them hugs and kisses. I have missed them so much. The next day was full of fun in the sun! They rode bikes and played in the water all day!

The day we left for Florida!

The day we left for Florida started off really early. We woke up at 3:30am to take Brian to work. Then we got Brian's gifts together. I wanted to do something special for Brian while we were gone. I know that the house was going to be very quiet without us and that he would miss us. We were gone for 14 days! Inside each envelope was a piece of paper of where his presents where hidden. Some of the gift were a picture Tyler drew for him, letters from us, his favorite candy, pictures of the kids, and tons of others things. Brian loved it! Everyday when he got off work he would call me as he opened the envelope. I loved that he did that.

We had made a LONG count down chain to when we were going to go. The second picture was Tyler holding the last chain. He was so excited when he got to take it down. He has been waiting for a long time!

It was Kelsey's first time on the plane. She did so good. Everyone loved her!
When we got to the Fresno airport they told me that I couldn't take my double stroller through, and that I had to check it in(because it was over 20 pounds) I was so mad. Are you kidding me I have to carry a 7 month old, two carry ons, diaper bag and keep track of a 3 year old. Ya that was a blast! (NOT). Everything went well, but we didn't get to Florida until midnight! It was a LONG day! I don't think I want to fly by myself again. It was a lot of work to try to entertain Tyler and Kelsey in such a little space.

Kelsey at 7 Months

Wow did time go fast. I'm slowly catching up on our blog. The end of July Kelsey turned 7 months. She is growing so fast and we just love her! She has this crazy hair that doesn't like to do anything...no matter what I do! She is full of joy. A random person will come up to us and Kelsey will give them "her" look, or she will decided to smile. She will fall asleep anywhere, and I mean anywhere! We never know what she is doing to do!

No Running!

The night of Tyler's visit to the ER was filled with me telling him 100 times not to run around. Being a boy he didn't know what to do. I was so afraid that he was going to mess up his ear. This is what he did for the rest of the night!

Not so fun Sunday

Well it sure didn't end up being a calm Sunday on July 22nd! It started out as soon as we woke up. Both kids woke up 3 times the night before (due to a cold). We were both so tired, and I didn't want to get the other kids sick. The kids and I stayed home, while Brian went to teach the young men. Tyler was climbing on his bike(that was left inside the house from the day before)(NO he was not riding his bike on Sunday!)Anyway....I had told him 2 times to not climb on it, because he could fall. Within 1 minute(as I turned to walk in the kitchen)I hear him screaming. I turn around to find the bike next to the table and he was holding his ear SCREAMING! I knew he was really hurt with that type of scream. I picked him up moved his hand off his ear to find blood and a piece of his ear was sliced. Lets just say I freaked out and of course Brian wasn't home yet. I run to get a paper towel and my phone. As I was about to call Brian, I hear the garage door open and ran to get him. Brian was all calm about it and we tried to calm Tyler down. Brian said that he would be fine, and I said no we need to take him to the ER! When we got to the ER I asked the nurse what were they going to do to fix it. I didn't know if they were going to just glue it or stitch it up. We were hoping for the glue, because we were leaving for Florida in a couple of day. If he had gotten stitches than he would be able to go swimming. After an hour later they cleaned his ear, and glued it together. his ear turned out so good. He has a little scar tissue, and its still sore sometimes.
