Spring is Here

Here in Hanford it has started to get really nice. We went shopping for some summer fun toys for those hot days. Tyler wanted to try out his poolso bad and I had told him that its still a little cold, but he didn't care. He sat down and started to play!

Bumbo

These are so much help. One of our fruends had one and Kelsey feel in love with it. She's in that stage where she wants to sit up, but can't. I love the Bumbo! You can take it any where, light, and easy to clean!

Things moms can do

Do you ever feel that you don't have enough arms? Well I sure do. It was hard to get use to not holding Tyler all the time. Since Kelsey is still little and needs me more, I have to tell Tyler to wait. Sometimes it isn't easy, but I can't hold both of them... until one night. Tyler was super tired and he wanted me so this is what I had to do.

Best Friends

From Day one Tyler has been such a good brother. As soon as he wakes up, the first thing he has to do is say hi to Kelsey and give her a kiss. She loves watching him play. She will sit in my lap and watch him all day if i let her. He loves to help me when shes not happy. He will run up to her and start talking, and most of the time she will stop crying and smile at him. I can't wait to watch them grow and play together.

Milk and Paint

I have been trying really hard to be a good mom and find fun things to do with Tyler when Kelsey has her bad days. I really have to plan what we do, if not the entire day is chaotic. I have found so many blogs that I get my ideas from. Thank goodness for blogs right. Anyway here is one that he loved. All you need is: ~Milk ~Food Coloring ~Toothpick ~Hand Soap ~Dish Pan

Dad and Kelsey

Why is it that almost every picture I have of them together they are both asleep! She loves her daddy!

Crazy Hair

From day one Kelsey has had crazy hair when she wakes up. Her hair is getting lighter and lighter, but I still think it going to be a light brown. We will see though!

Potty Time

Almost 2 months ago we started working with Tyler to go potty in the big boy potty. He has done so good. First we started out with getting him to poop in the potty and that was so easy. I was so amazed, because I was always told that poop was the hardest. Well I guess it was the other way around. He's doing OK with pee. We just started with this one not to long ago. I guess I rather change a pee diaper than a poop one. We haven't tried underwear just... still a little cold to let him run around with just underwear. It's in the process though. I'm so glad that I waited to potty train him, he just wasn't ready yet when we moved here, then a new baby came in our lives. I think its better to wait until they are ready than it isn't hard on the both of you. First we tried everything to help him get excited to go. We tried treats, pennies for his little piggy bank, cherrios to pee on, but the thing that works fir us are stickers. He loves stickers in the first place, so I got a liitle poster board and he tought it was the coolest thing ever! We are so proud of him!
We are so proud of him!

V-Day

On Valentines Day Brian had to work the whole day/night. It was also the day that I got my baby plug (IUD). I spent most of the morning in the car driving to and from the doctor. Tyler helped me make the house clean and pretty for daddy after we had a nice lunch. Since Brian was working until midnight, on his break we went to dinner. It was a nice little date night as a family.

Baby Blessing

On February 5th Kelsey was blessed. It was such a wonderful blessing. Both of our parents were able to come celebrate this day with us. It was a great day!

Daddy and Tyler

One of the things that Tyler loves to do with his daddy is to jump on him. It's so funny to watch him. The first thing he does is that he runs to the couch and grabs a pillow...(Daddy NEEDS a pillow for his head mommy)This is what he tells me as he grabs the pillow from under my head. I guess he doesn't see the other three pillows.

Strong

Around 2 weeks old Kelsey started to hold her head up. I know... I couldn't believe it. Then she surprised us again. She was doing tummy time and she roled over! Yeah I'm not kidding. Brian was at work when it happen and I called him and he didn't believe me so as soon as he got home I put her on her tummy and she did it again! I didn;t know babies could do something like this so early!

2 weeks old

It has been really hard at times not going to lie. The first two weeks were good. I healed so fast, which made things so much better to get back to our lives. She did good sleeping. We had to wake her up every 4 hours to feed her, which we were so happy to get that much sleep. She loves to be held and rocked. I always thought she was going to be a baby that didn't want to be held. Guess I was wrong. After about two weeks being in our room it was time to take her crib in Tyler's room. She was keeping Brian up( he goes to work at 3:30am). I think he was keeping her up as well. Lets just say he sounds like a train. lol
