Tyler has been doing so many new things. As you know he can now sit up by himself. Well Brian and I decided not to get him a high chair until he was able to sit up. The other day we went to get him one and he loves it(and so do I).
I have been trying to get Tyler use to eating oatmeal and baby food. He now knows how to open his mouth when the spoon is in front of him. I'm so excited! Its so fun to sit down at the table and eat as a family.



Tyler said his first word!! Well I count it as his first word. Guess what it is MAMA!!!

Congratulations Brian!!

I just wanted to say congrats to Brian for all of his hard work in school. Last semester he made two B's and one A! I am very proud of him, he worked very hard and he was able to get his GPA up, which is great. In one of his classes he should of gotten an A, but his teacher did not give him the A.
Ok here is the story on the teacher. Brian had to do a project for school, and you know Brian he likes the competition. So Brian wanted to make this amazing axe. His teacher told him that it wouldn't turn out right. Well my hubby proved him wrong. When it was time to turn in the project the teacher looked at it for about 15 seconds and said it turned out better than I thought. Then he said you must have put in extra time. You would think that the teacher would like that, but not this one. Here is the axe that he made. Now tell me that this should have been an A+ not a B-

Bed or Sofa

I use not to be a morning person. I love my sleep, and if I didn't get sleep you didn't want to be around me. I guess I was like this, because I knew that I wouldn't get any sleep when I got married and had kids. You would think because I have to get up with Tyler. Well your wrong. I have a little video for everyone to see of Brian sleeping. This is why I sleep on the sofa some night. I guess its a Ulmer thing!

Happy Father's Day!

First I want to wish every father a Happy Father's Day.
Brian has been the best father to Tyler. These 6 months have been such a joy to watch Brian play with Tyler. The other day Brian and I were in bed and he said, "Tyler is so fun to play with and he is the cutest baby". It was such a great feeling to have such a wonderful husband who loves our child. I know that as Tyler gets older, Brian and him will be so close together. Happy father's Day Brian! Tyler loves you!!

Camping Trip

This past weekend we went camping with some friends and family. We had a blast. I do have to say that Tyler did amazing. I thought he would be bad, but he was really even when all of the other campers stayed up to 2am. That was a lot of fun.

Tyler's Birthday Dinner

Brian and I wanted to take Tyler got for his 6 months Birthday. We went to sizzlers. It was so good, Tyler got to try a potato for the first time. He loved it. He also got to sit in a highchair, since he can now sit up by himself. He has become such a joy in our lives. He is a very good baby unless he wants food!!

Poppy Face

Yesterday Brian and were getting ready to go to dinner with his brother and Tyler had a bad poppy right as I was tying to get ready. So I changed him and wrapped the diaper up and set it aside. I was in our bedroom putting my make up on and I looked at Tyler and he had gotten into the diaper. It was all over his face and his new shirt. Lets just say he has a new nick name "Poppy Face". It was so nasty. Brian thought it was the funniest thing.

After church We came home and was getting ready to go to my sister's for lunch, and I thought it would be funny for my dad to wear some of Brian's shorts. This is what he looks like...

Happy Baby!!

In the mornings Tyler is the cutest. He is always talking and smiley. Brian and I took some pictures and he is now almost sitting up by himself. He still falls over on the side, but we are working on it. I couldn't ask for a better baby.

Oquirrh Mountain Temple

Saturday we went to the Oquirrh Temple for the open house. It was so pretty, and we were able to take my dad and my sister's family. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints now has 130 temples world wide. Here are a couple of pictures that I took.

Love is in the air

I just wanted to send out a thank you for my parents and all that they do for my family. My Aunt has been going through some tough times in her life right now and she needs some support and love. My Parents have taken her under their wings to guide her and help her get back on her feet. I'm very grateful for them and the love that they for her. I know that she will get better, and she has. I know their are many payers out there for her. Thank you for those prayers. I know that they are helping.
My Aunt is a wonderful person. She's always happy and will always make you have a smile on your face. Oh ya I almost forgot.. She's an amazing cook. I love you her so much and I can't wait to see her in July.
