This year I wanted to make sure we had a fun December and spend as much time with Tyler as we would since we had a liitle one on the way! I got a little count down calendar, to help Tyler get excited for christmas. Every night or day Tyler would open the little door and find a little piece of paper that had the activity for the day. Tyler's Birthday

December 18th Tyler turned 3! I can't believe how fast he has grown into a little boy. He was so excited for his birthday and couldn't wait to open his presents! Here are a few pictures of his presents. Ever since he was born I always told myelf I would never cut him short since Christmas is a week later. It just wouldnt be fair. He's one lucky boy!He brings so much joy and smiles in our home. We love him to death and can't wait to watch him grow and learn new things.

Since I'm due only 2 weeks later than what I was with Tyler I thought it would be fun to dress the same and see the difference. Which one do you think is Tyler? i didn't think it would be almost the same, but with a close up you can tell that I carry her different. more pictures to come!

A little update! I'm almost 35 weeks and we are supper excited. I decided to switch doctors and I'm so happy I did. He is a very nice man and actually cares of your needs and wants. So far everything looks great. If we are both progressing than friday the 30th I will be induced(thats if she doesn't come before).
Last week my ward threw me and 7 other women a baby shower. YES we have 8 women who are pregnant in our ward. It's crazy, but true. 4 are having boys and 4 are having girls! 2 of the women just had their babies so now we have 6! Everyone is so nice and has made me feel so welcomed.

Our Lives

Where to even start? Our lives have been so busy these last few months. The end of September Brian went to utah for a business trip and a few days later( 2 days) we flew to Hanford, CA for our house hunting trip/ interviews. Brian was being interviewed for a new position in the company. It was a two day interview and while he was doing this Tyler and I were looking at places for us to live in. We didn't know when we were moving, or even if he got the job. We found out the day before we left that he got the job, but still didn't know when he would start. So we left Cali with no place to live. Two days later Brian was at work and he was called into his bosses office telling him that they wanted him to start on the 25th of October. I get a phone call from Brian saying "hey babe they want me to start on the 25th so we have to move this weekend. I have to go call you later" No joke. I thought he was just kidding. So I tried to call him back...no answer..so I try a text..and no answer. he then calls be back 20 min. later. He tells me that hes on his way home and that i need to call around and find us a place to live. I was going crazy! We had so much to do in only 3 days. I started calling some places that we liked and all the houses were taken, and most apartments didnt have any open spots. The we decided to live in the same apartment that we were in over the summmer. I called them up and they had two open spots. We were really lucky! We got a great deal and alot cheaper than what we thought. The entire day we were running around town trying to get paper work done, plus start packing. The good thing is that I had already been packing even before we knew he got the job. We were planning on moving to a different place in Fort Morgan. But still I was 28 weeks pregnant with a 2 year old trying to pack in 3 days. It was so stressful. We packed everything up in a u-haul on Saturday and left sunday morning. We have such great friends who all came out to help us load up. Early sunday morning we left and drove to cedar city utah and stayed the night. Then got up and drove some more. The trip took us 23 hours! Brian is such a great husband. He drove the entire trip. Tyler did great he was so excited to ride in the "Big Truck". i had a big bag of toy and books to try and keep him busy. You can say that we had alot of family time together. We got here Monday around 4ish and we were all so tired. We started to unpack the truck and we had boxes everywhere. on Wednesday my mom came out to help get unpacked. She was here for 2 weeks. She was such a big help. I couldn't have done it without her.

I'm happy to say that we are doing well and loving it here. The weather is so nice compared to colorado right now. Our ward is awesome, everyone is so nice. Tyler went to nursery two sundays in a row without any melt downs. I'm so proud of him. Brian has gotten his work schedule for the next while. He will be working from 4 am to around 2pm! Leprino has been so good for us. They always make sure we have everything that we need. I'm doing great. Only 8 weeks to go! I found a doctor and he seems to be pretty good...so I heard. I have an appointment today so we will see what he says. I'm loving our new place, it has 3 pools and a workout room(not that I'll be using the pool anytime soon) Its located in a great area that is gated. We just got the babies bed set up this weekend and our new beds are coming this week, so excited for a king!

Brian's Birthday
Brian's Birthday was October 5! He turned 27. We were in the middle of our house hunting trip, so we couldn't do much, but I did have a surprise birthday party for him before we left. I try to surprise him with things and he ALWAYS finds out or guesses it. I don;t know how he does it. It was a fun night with friends, presents and Mexican food.(pictures will come later)Anyway we got to go to olive garden for his birthday and Tyler and I made some cards for him. He loved them!

A week ago I turned 23! Wow I can't believe that im 23 and that I'm going to be a mom of two! I'm so excited to start this new adventure. My Birthday was filled with tons of stress, but in the end everything worked out. That morning Brian took off work to handle an issue we had, but after that he took me with to Greeley and we did some shopping. Its funny that I say shopping. You would think that I got stuff for me...but I didn't. Everything that I got were for my kids. Tyler got some winter clothes and so did our little girl! We pick out her come home outfit. Its so cute. Can't wait to put her in it. Later that night we went to dinner at Red Lobster. I have been craving crab for so long. It was a great simple day. I couldn't ask for anything better.

We have a little new friend that likes to come to the window and say hello. We just call him "The Cat". As soon as Tyler hears him he says "CAT CAT CAT". He thinks its so much fun to stand in the sink and look for the cat.

Tyler has gotten so silly. He loves to make us laugh. He was playing with his trains and he wanted a snack so he went and got some grapes. I was watching tv and he said "look mom". All I did was laugh. He thought it was so cool to put all of his grapes on his track.

He loves to play with Brian's phone, since it has all of the cool games on it. I guess he decided he wanted to make his own chair.

We went to the doctors yesterday and found out that we are having a little GIRL! I can't wait to have her in my arms. The ultrasound tech lady gave us tons of pictures....not even kidding. We got 19 photos plus we were able to get a dvd of the whole thing.
Our little one was so cute. She was moving like crazy the night before and also during the ultrasound.She had her legs crossed...way cute. Near the end the tech needed to look at her brain and she would not move, but at the very end she moved for us.
We don't have any names picked out yet and I have no idea what her name will be. It seems like the names I like Brian doesn't like....this is going to take some time. Everything looks good and i'm right on the chart of where I need to be, so thats good. No change in the due date. It's still 1/1/12! We are going to plan on her coming early....but we will see.

Wow it has been way to long! Sorry everyone! Ok so much has happened since Father's Day. First we took a quick trip to Cali to see Brian's dad that was becoming the bishop of the church. It was a fun and short weekend. We are so proud of him and we know its a lot of stress, but its so worth it in the end. John is such a great man, and I have to say that Brian is a lot like him. One day Tyler will be just like his papa john. A couple weeks later Brian was sent to cali and he has been doing great. We were able to be with him 3 weeks later and it has been great. During those 3 weeks was really hard. I was still going through my morning sickness and it was not fun. A week before I left my parents came out and we had a blast. It was so good to see them. I really miss having family around. They were such a big help.

We are still in cali and we love it! We have been staying in an apartment that has 3 pools and we are really enjoying it. The company has been really great and making sure we have everything that we need.
Brian has been working so hard and he is doing such a great job, even though he is working nights.

This year we weren't able to celebrate Father's Day with Brian. He was sent to California for work. I felt so bad that his day wasn't going to be spent with his family. So I have something very exciting for him when we fly out to see him.
He is such a great dad to Tyler. He loves to play with him and tease him. I'm so excited to see him with our next child, I know that he will help as much as he can. He will do anything for his family. When we found out that we were pregnant with Tyler it was a big surprise. We were both working and going to school. We didn't know what we were going to do, but Brian made it work. The hardest part was when he lost his job. I know that put a lot of stress on him. But in the end everything seems to work out for us. I couldn't have made it without him. He makes me such a better person, even though I know that I get on his nerves when I'm pregnant.
Happy Father's Day Brian! We love you so much and can't wait to see you. We miss you. (Sorry all the pictures are old. All the recent ones are on the lap top with Brian)

Baby # 2

WE are so excited that we will be bringing another child into our lives. This baby will be here around January 1. This one was planed and we couldn't be happier to give Tyler a little brother or sister. The only bad thing is that I have been really sick. This time has been a lot harder. The sickness comes and goes. One day we could be at the pool and the next I'm in bed all day. I have to say that Tyler has been really good through most of it. When i'm upset he comes running to me and gives me kisses and says "Mom, Mom".

A couple of weeks ago I had my first ultrasound. I was 10 weeks. It was pretty cool to see the baby so small. The ultrasound tech tried to get the baby to move, but not luck until the very end then the baby moved its little arm. It was so cute.

Do you ever think about the concept of time? How one minute I'm going about my own business, enjoying life, and then the next minute I'm holding Tyler, falling in love all over again, and wondering what I ever did before he came into our life. It's amazes me that we go from one point in our lives to the next through a series of moments, and nothing more. Moments are what make up our lives. Moments create all the beautiful memories. And moments are the true joys of motherhood. Moments like the first time I held my baby. Moments like when he puts his arms around my neck and kisses me. Seeing him light up when we got to the park and feed the ducks. Watching him search through my purse until he finally finds what he wants. When he runs to the door yelling, daddy! daddy! Somehow, those small moments become the memories that make up our lives.
Being a mother is not glamorous. It involves sticky messes, sleepless nights, and temper tantrums. But I chose it. I chose it because I knew nothing could ever replace the love that I feel for my wonderful son. Nothing could ever replace the joy and the happiness that radiates through our home. What we had before Tyler joined our family was great, but what we have now that he's in our lives is incredible. I'm grateful that I get a to be a mom, grateful for the messes I have to clean up, the kisses I get, the crying, the laughing, the snuggles when he is tired, and most of all, the moments. Of all the things I want to do in my life, being a mother is what I want to do best. I thank my Heavenly Father every day for this beautiful life. This is why I was sent here to earth...to be a mother.

Easter Cookies!

Tyler and I made some Easter cookies for our big Easter dinner! He wanted to eat the dough instead of making cookies. They turned out really good! I made homemade icing for that night..I have to say all the icing looked and tasted good.

Weekend in Denver!

We got to spend the weekend in Denver a couple of weeks ago. It was such a great/fun/exciting weekend. We drove up with some of our friends and we all got a hotel for that night. Getting some food before the game was a good idea! Stadium food is soooo expensive. The weather was so nice that we ate at a restaurant that had a roof top. It was such an awesome view that we could see the field from our table.

Before the game started the boys wanted to see if they could catch some balls from batting practice. They were so close..but they didn't catch one. The man that caught one ball came up to Tyler and gave him the ball. Tyler was so excited that he got a ball. I thought it was so nice of that guy to give it to Tyler. Brian wanted to tell everyone that he caught the ball for his son... but maybe next time that will happen.

We went to a Rockies game and we had some pretty exciting seat. Lets just say that I was out of breath went we got to our seats ( didn't help that I had an extra 26 pounds to carry)!

The next day we wanted to take Tyler to the Aquarium. The rest of the guys went to another Rockies game. One game was good enough for me. We took Tyler to tghe Aquarium in Utah a year and a half ago and he loves it. I thought for sure he would like it. It was a lot of fun to see him pick out the different colors of fish. He was talking so much telling us the colors of the fish, and how the turtles were swimming. I have say that I do have to say I like the one in Utah better. Maybe one day we will go back.

After the drive back from the Aquarium we went to meet the rest of our friends. Well this was the excitement of the day. Brian was driving our friends car, so he was so under the seed limit and really watching what he was doing. We two cars in front of us got hit by a lady that ran a dead on red light. We still had the green light and the other car in front of us stopped. It was the first time I have ever seen an accident right in front of me. I had my phone in my hand about to dial 911 and I looked up and we were right by a hospital. Brian hurried and pulled over to help. Both cars were very lucky..No one got killed or hurt very bad. The car that had ran the red light was lucky as well, she hit the other car so bad that her car lifted off the ground and slid into a pole so fast that the car pretty much did a 360. If that pole wasn't there then she would have rolled. My heart was beating so fast that whole day. I was so thankful that it wasn't us. I looked at Brian and told him count your blessings. I know that Heavenly Father was looking after us.

Easter was great this year! Tyler was so excited to color eggs and play with his Easter basket. Since he is a little older this year he could do everything on his own. It was great to see him take control of what he wanted his egg to look at. Happy Late Easter!

BRIAN
He just finished another department! Yeah! Now hes on the final and most important department. We thought his training was going to be pushed back because of a big project he had to do for corporate, which meant that the training was put on hold.
Ending up being a good thing. Now he is back on track where he is suppose to be. Only 6 more months until we find out where we will go next. We are hoping to go to the Cali plant in lemoore. We will then be 6 hours from family.
Other than his work he's doing great. Staying busy with Tyler and playing with him.

TYLER
He is getting so big and learning so much. He is now saying two to three words at a time, sometimes even four. I love that he gets so excited to talk and communicate with us more. He loves to help mommy with everything. He is such a great boy who is full of energy. He enjoys learning and saying new words. When he trys to talk to you and you don't repeat it back he gets mad ( in his mind he thinks that if you don't repeat it than you don't understand him). We are so happy to have him in our home. He teaches us so much.
The other day we were picking out our temple pictures to put in his room and he said "Mommy look church" I tried to tell him its called a temple and he looked at me and said "Ya Church". I guess its close enough for now.

Spring Cleaning!

I have been spring cleaning for about 3 weeks now. It all started when I decided to start going through our stuff in storage. The house was a mess. I took all of Tyler's baby clothes and went through all of it and put them in bins. Lets just say that the storage room looks so much better. My next project was to deep clean.
Since I have became a mother and wife, I can't stand having a dirty house and not organized. Everything has it place, and if its not in the right spot then something is wrong.
Brian ended taking 3 black trash bags to the thrift store for me. It felt so good to go through stuff that we never use. If we haven't used it within a year than we don't need it. This is something that my brother in law taught my sister.
All of my spring cleaning is done!

Flight to California

This past week Tyler and I got the chance to go to California and spend some time with the family! We had so much fun. Tyler was really good on the plane. This was his 4th time on the plane, but it was his first time he got to sit in a seat. He was so excited. I didn't know what he would do...but he sat in his seat the whole time. We watched tons of movies and colored! Good thing it was only a 2 hr flight!

Potty Time!

This weekend we went to get Tyler a little potty! He has been showing a lot of signs that he is ready to potty train. Since he was around 14 months he started to tell us when he went poop! Now that he is older he still tells us, but in a different way, and he was been waking up dry for the past month. We are so excited to start this new phase. I heard it can be a really good experience, or really bad. I'm thinking it will be good. We are not the type of parents who push our kids to do something that they don't want to do. We feel like that they know when they can handle it. I think teaching our children to have choices is the best thing for them. We ( I mean I) won't fully start the training until Tyler and I get back from cali. I would really like to start now, but once we start putting under ware on then no more diapers. I just don't want to confuse him. We are so proud of him! I can't believe that he is getting so big and learning so much. We let him pick out the potty..its from the movie Cars. We were going to get something simple, but Brian wanted him to pick it out. Its well spent money if he will get excited to go potty.

A cute little story...Today he told Brian he had to pee, so he took off his clothes and ran to the potty and peed. He kinda missed a little and when he got up he put his hands to his face and said uh oh. I think he was afraid that he was in trouble, but i didn't care if he peed on the floor a little. Brian and I hurried up and told him how good of a job he did. Then Tyler started jumping and had the biggest smile on his face.

I thought I would share these pictures with everyone. We just found out that Brian will be done with his training around October! I'm so excited to find out where we will be going. We are both ready to get out of this town. We miss our families and friends so much. We know that things will work out. We just have to wait! Again we are waiting for something else.

Life

Our life has been so busy these past couple of months. We feel like we have done so much, but yet at the same time it doesn't. After a long 5 months of fighting with our landlord we are making progress on our bathroom. If you haven't heard we had a leak from upstairs bathroom. They came in and tore the ceiling out over the shower and never came back to Finnish then the leak started again. Well some good news... They fixed the leak, but we still have a big hole above or shower. Who knows when someone will come in to put dry wall up. Shoot I can even do it. All the years watching my dad, I know its not that hard. Dealing with landlords are not fun. I never thought that we would be in this situation. We WILL be moving once or contract is over. Lets just hope we can find something better. Going through all of this makes me so grateful for Brian having a good job. That way we are able to save up to buy a house.

Besides all of the apartment stuff. Life has been so good. Brian and I started to read the scriptures together. The other other day in church I felt like I didn't know the scriptures like I should. Since Brian has so much patience, he offered to teach me and help me. I loved it. I feel so much closer to Heavenly Father and my family. The Scriptures can really help us in our lives. A fiend of mine from our ward has been such an influnce. She a lot like me in so many ways. We have decided to set goals together and this is where I also wanted to learn more of the scriptures. We agreeed to start reading the Ensign every night. I have been doing it everynight plus the scriptures with Brian. It really makes a difference. My attitude about things have changed. I love it!

Tyler is learning so much everyday! We are so gratful to have him in our lives and home. He brings so much joy to us. Life wouldn't be the same without him. We know that he was sent to us for a reason. To see him light up when he sees daddy homes is the best thing in the world. I love my boys so much and I can't wait to spend everyday with them.

Brian is moving along in his training. He just finnished another department. He has learned the departmernts of Cheese and Processing. He is now working on Whey! I'm so proud of him and all the things he does for us. We can't wait to see where we will be moving to, but sad to say that we might not move at all or until another year.

We woke up this morning and it was -9 outside with a wind chill of -23! Yeah you can say thats cold. I have never seen it get this cold in my life. I went outside to take out the trash and I almost froze my butt! It wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have so much wind.
We can not wait for summer to be able to go to the pool and go running in nice warm sun. No more waking up to this.

I have been so busy with going to the doctors and getting back to our normal schedule. A couple of weeks ago I helped one of my friends paint her bathroom. It was so much fun and it looks so good. I can't wait to see what it looks like when everything is put back together. This makes me so excited to move and buy a house, but thats not anytime soon. We still have a year left until Brian is done with his training, thats if everything goes to schedule.

We made it back to Colorado after a long 2 week vacation. We are so grateful that we were able to see both of our families this year for Christmas. It was so good to seem everyone. Thank you everyone for a wonderful Christmas!
Before we left we had no snow, when we arrived we has about 3 inches of snow! Since then we have had non stop of snow and coldness. We are happy to be in our little town with just the three of us!

Our trip to Florida was so much fun. Its a family tradition that when we fly into Florida we always go to dinner at Sonny's BBQ! My sister and her kids met us their and Tyler ran to Morgie and gave him a big hug and didn't let go as well as Lily. Too cute. It was so cute to see them together again. I knew he couldn't forget about those kids. After living by my sister for 3 years and then not to see them for 6 months was so hard. But we spent some quality time with each other. Tyler even knew Nana & Papa.

Tyler's 2nd Birthday part 2

December 18th Tyler turned 2! We had a nice animal theme party with friends and family in Florida. Tyler was so full of energy that day, after being in a plane the day before for 4 hours! We ate lots of food and played pin the tail on the zebra. The kids ended up outside playing with acorns.

Tyler has grown so much. He loves to explore, play with cars, balls, reading books, helping mommy with the dishes, moping,and laundry. Its so fun to see how much his personality has grown into a little toddler and more like Brian and I.

We celebrated Tyler's birthday the night before we left for Florida! I didn't want to ship all his presents to Florida then back to Colorado. Tyler was so excited to open them he has been eyeing them since the first of December.

This year we got to go to Florida for a little over a week. The night before we left Tyler got really sick and decided to throw up and have no sleep. Luck for me I went to bed early so I got some sleep, but for Brian he only got 3 hours of sleep. You can only imagine how tried we were. I was so afraid that Tyler was going to be sick on the plane, but he wasn't. Luck for us he takes after his dad and the sickness only lasted for a couple of hours. Boy was he hungry that morning. He was such a great boy. He slept the entire drive and flight.

The second half of our party we made ginger bread houses! It was so much fun making them. It was funny to see how each of our houses were so different. Brian's was the best...he spent so much time to make everything nice and perfect. Mine was just simple with a nice white fence. Tyler helped Alison with her house by putting and the M&M's on the entire roof!

Ice Skating!

We have been so busy these past few weeks with getting ready for our
trips that I'm so behind on our blog.
We had went to Loveland on a shopping trip/ Ice Skating with some of our friends that Brian works with. It was my first time Ice Skating and I have to say I did a pretty good job. I didn't even fall!

Parade

Busy Busy Busy

Us Ulmers have been so busy with work, Tyler turning two soon, getting ready for our Vacations, Christmas, and making plans for the future! I can't believe its December. Where has the time gone?

Brian finished his first department a couple of weeks ago! He was training in the Cheese department and is now in processing. He has been working really hard and trying to learn as much as he can. On top of that he has been a great father and husband. He is always willing to help out with anything that I need.

As for me...I'm busy trying to be the best mother and wife that I can be. It seems to me that time has been over rated. I'm been spending a lot of time with my little one, just teaching him and watching him grow into a little boy. Brian and I have grown so close together. We have been married for 3 yrs now and I still can't believe how much stuff I still don't know about him. My boys are the love of my life.

Tyler is getting so big and growing up so fast. He turns two in a couple of weeks and I'm so excited for his party. I have been working on it for a long time. He is learning so much and it is amazing to see him proceed in a toddlers life. He can recognize almost all his letters and about a handful of what the letter sound like.
Just tonight Brian was wearing a USC shirt that said "USC TROJAINS" and he knew all the letters and all the sounds but the letter U. We are so excited to watch him learn and grow. He makes us laugh and smile everyday.

As a little family we stay very busy! We can't wait to see what the future holds for us!

Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving we celebrated it with just us three! We had so much fun cooking and eating food. We didn't do the traditional Thanksgiving meal. We made some ribs. They were so good. Poor Brian had to go to the park and cook them in the cold, because we didn't have a grill. The day before Thanksgiving we went everywhere to try and find one...but I guess here in Fort Morgan they don't sell them year long.
I'm so grateful for our friends and families. They do so much for us. I'm extremely grateful for our Heavenly Father for giving us everything in our lives and more. We are so happy to be apart of our church and the friends that we have in it. They are such a great example to us as parents.

Today we will spend some quility time together watching Tyler run around. It's still the happiest day of my life.

Camping

This past weekend we had a camping night. We never had a chance to go camping this summer with moving and unpacking, so I thought it would be fun and it was tons of fun. We got to stay up late and watch movies inside our tent. I think we might do it again soon!

Elder Ulmer

Today Brian's little brother Clint has reported to the MTC(missionary training center)! We are so excited for him. He will be serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for two year in the Sydney, Australia mission. He will be speaking korean! We are so proud of him!

A couple of Months ago my mom told me about this website that helps your child learn the different sounds of the alphabet. It has been so good for Tyler he has learned some of the letter, but most of all it gives him the opportunity to start learning at a young age. When we wants to learn a new letter this is what he does...
He will climb on the computer chair and pretends to type. I love that he is learning so well. So proud of him!

Grandma Sharlene

Grandma this is for you. Sorry we haven't had time to call you back. Things have been really busy around here, and Brian has been working double shifts..i wanted to let you know that Tyler is wearing size 24 months bottoms and 2T shirts, but he can wear 2T bottoms if they don't have 24 months. Its just 24 months are shorter so they fit him better. Hope all is going well. We love you.

Memo Boards

I have yet again made something new for our apartment. I have seen these memo boards at Target for 14.99 and I thought I bet I could make one for a lot less. I got two canvas for 9.99 and both fabrics for 9.99! I was so excited to make these. Tyler's didn't turn out the way i wanted it to, but in the end it looks great in his ball room. I couldn't find any fabric with balls on it so i had to go with ribbon instead.
They are so fun and easy to make!

Fall Tree

Today we did some finger painting to celebrate fall. Tyler and I made a Fall tree. He had so much fun that he thought it would be fun to paint all over himself. Tyler didn't want to miss any body part so he told me "FEET" and decided to paint the bottom of his feet. He loved it. I have been trying to do more art project with him each day and this was something I will never forget.

Halloween Party

I was very creative this year I made Mummy cupcakes and Mummy drinks, with candy corn decorations!

As Trick or Treaters came by we played Twister!! We had a blast!

We then watched Ghostbusters. You have to watch some type of Halloween movie. I guess we had too much fun with all the games. Almost everyone fell asleep.

Tyler has really gotten into Cartoons lately. I don't mind him watching them, but I only let him watch Dora & Diego. He seems to be picking up on things. These two are very educational for children. What mother doesn't want their children to succeed in learning? For me its such a great feeling to see Tyler learn a new word or letter! The best is when he comes up to me and say "Mammy B..Bee Bee". Love it!

When he wants to watch Cartoons he says "mot mot" (for remote).. So cute.

Pumpkin Carving

We had some friends over this weekend to carve pumpkins!! Tyler was much more excited this year than last year. We tried to let him get messy...but he didn't want to touch it..he wanted to carve instead... I guess he thinks hes a big boy! This year I wanted to do something different and it turned out pretty good. Funny thing is that Brian is always the one that does something creative and this year I was. Enjoy the pictures!

Brian was giving Tyler a bath last night while I was cleaning up the kitchen. Brian came and got me and this is what I found... Tyler was so upset because Brian was teasing him about what he just did. I knew that this day would come...not to long ago my niece had did this and I was hoping that I would have to clean it up...lucky me Brian was home and he was nice enough to clean it up... What a night to remember... We never know what Tyler is going to do next....

Six Flags

Brian's 26th Birthday

For Brian's Birthday I decorated the whole house. He loved it. I wanted to do something different for him so I came up with 26 presents for Brian and I had all of them on the table when he walked in. Just to see a big smile on his face made my day. I'm so thankful that I have Brian. He means the world to me and he is the best husband and father I could ever ask for. I'm so excited to spend the rest of my life with him and to be with him for every birthday. Love you Brain!!

Insane

This has been an insane couple of days. I came home from the airport on Tuesday and the bathroom floor was soaking wet and the ceiling over the shower was leaking. In the middle of all of this the city had to dig a giant hole in the street in order to get to the water line. (I know crazy). Let me just add one more thing..when we moved in our dishwasher wasn't working and I have been asking them to come fix..well 4 months later they are going to fix it. Yesterday I had four guys coming in and out of my house trying to fix the bathroom. It was a mess. As you can see in the photos they had to take the whole ceiling down. I thought..this is never going to be done..In the middle o f all of this mess it was Tyler's nap time..well it didn't go to well he slept maybe 30 mins. After 3 hours they got everything done!!

Blessed

Just wanted to thank the wonderful people in our lives. We are so blessed to have such caring and loving parents. We are so grateful to know that if we need anything, anything at all that they are just a phone call away. We miss them a lot and wish we can see them often, but that time will come. We didn't realize how much we would really care about them and miss them until they are moved away. Moving from Utah to Colorado was a big change. We had my sister's family, Brian two brothers and their family. Its just now hitting us how much we love all of them and wish we were a 10 min drive away.
Heavenly Father has definitely blessed us with a wonderful son who has brought out the good in us. As well as a wonderful husband. I'm going to miss him so much while hes on a business trip for 3 days. So if all of my family hears from me you will know why.

For my birthday weekend we got to the Rockies Baseball Game with with some of his co- workers and Brian surprised me with a hotel. We stayed at the Hyatt right in down town Denver. We had so much fun and the hotel was so nice. The next morning we woke up and went shopping on the 16th street mall. It was such a great experience, being in a huge city is much different then were we live for sure. When we walked to the game the night before I saw a Jamba Juice! I told him that we had go. So of course we went! I had a blast! Thank you so much babe! Love you.

Clint's Visit

Tyler just loves oranges and I usually cut them up in little cubs.. but I decided to see what he would do when I cut them in slices..... I figured that it wouldn't hurt anything..well as you can see he thought he could take a bath and rub it all in his hair. Guess he thought it was a new shampoo!

Woodhouses Visit

My sister and her family got to come out and visit with us for a couple of days before they move to Florida. We had so much fun! We are sure going to miss them so much...but can't wait to see them at Christmas!

We took the kids to the park and they got to feed the ducks and run around!

They all took baths together. It is hard work giving three kids baths. We had some funny stories during bath time.

Yesterday I was on facebook and someone had posted a video of people had had been in car accidents... it was something that you never think about unless you see it or it happens to you...I just kept thinking to myself how I never want to get THAT phone call or THAT knock on the door that one of your family member had been in a car accident. I went with Brian to Greeley yesterday and on the way back we had a disagreement I was so mad and watching that video made me think that the last time we spoke I was mad. On top of that he had to go back in to work so i wasn't around him for a couple of hours..after I finished the video I was going to text him that I was sorry and that I love him..but i couldn't find my phone.I was getting so freaked out because he was usually home at 2 and it was 3:30. I looked everywhere for that phone..then he sent me a text and it was under the pillow on the couch. Having the thoughts going through my mind that what if something happened to him and I didn't get to give him that kiss or hug.

I am so grateful for Brian and the things that he does for our family. I know that he loves Tyler and I so much. I couldn't ask for a better husband. I love my family so much and to know that we are sealed in the temple for all eternity is a comfort. To know that if something happens to us we will be together forever.

A couple of weekends ago we went to the state fair and Tyler loved seeing the animals! He likes to look but not touch...he LOVES animals, but for some reason he will not touch them..maybe because he thinks they stink. When we walked over to the pigs he was holding his nose.. I love when he does things like that you just have to laugh.

I know this is really old, but I wanted to post some pictures of when Brian's parents were here. We took them to the famous Bridge in Fort Morgan!! Under the bridge we have a little river and we thought it would be fun to walk down...the boys wanted to walk to the other side...but Terri and I thought it was too cold. Brian was trying to teach me how to skip rocks..but that didnt go so well. Tyler had fun with Grandma and playing with rocks and looking at frogs.

Rockies Game

We were able to go to the Rockies Game with Brian's parents! It was a lot of fun. It was our first game together with Tyler, and he just loved it. Every time he would see the ball he would say "ball ball ball". Before the game Brian's parents took us to Red lobster..It was to die for...sooo good.

Weekend

This weekend we went to a town called Loveland(about an hour west from us) We spent the day shopping for the apartment. It was so much fun to be able to spend the day as a family and not worry about anything. After our long shopping day we went to dinner at PF Changs!!It was so good.
Tyler was great he didn't get a nap..but he was passed out on the drive home.
Our drive home was great it rained and we got to see a double rainbow. It was so pretty. I haven't seen one in so long.
Funny story on our drive home we were talking and i looked over and i saw a deer running in the field and I was screaming at Brian to look and I think I scared him a little. I thought it was so pretty to see a deer... but its not like I haven't or Brian hasn't seen one. Thought it was pretty funny that I scared him. Brian thought it would be funny to get me back so he did the same thing. but I thought he was serious. For you that don't know we had hit a deer on our way back from cali this summer and it messed our car up pretty good. So I thought one was coming toward us. Oh I was so scared.

We then got to go to the park to feed the ducks and play.

18 Months

Tyler turned 18 months on the 18th. He is so full of energy. Sometimes I don't know how he can keep going. Since he is now 18 months he got to go to Nursery! I have to say that he did such a great job. I decided to stay a little to see what he would do and he went straight to the toys...So I tried to sneak out without him seeing me and he saw me, but didn't cry... I was so surprised because we are never apart. I left the door cracked so I could look in and he didn't even cry or look for me. The entire time in sunday school I was wondering if he was ok, same with Relief society, but I did leave class to check on him and he was just fine. After church I went to go pick him up and he ran to me. Being a mother is such a joy for me. I love knowing that your loved by your kid. It had felt like I haven't seen him in days. I love this little boy so much. So Proud of TYLER!!

Moved in!

Ok so we made it. I know it has been forever since We have posted anything. We still dont have Internet, but going to the library has helped a lot. Where to start....

The drive to Colorado was fun. We left Utah around 5:30 am and we got to Colorado about 4ish. It was such a long drive. Lets just say next time we are doing the shipping thing. Brian did such a great job driving the U-Haul. I couldn't do it.
We had a few people from the ward help us move in. It was great to have help. We were so worried that we would have to do it by ourselves.
Once we got everything in we noticed that the carpet was sticky...yea it was nasty and the kitchen was nasty. Lets just say after being in a U-Haul for 10 hours I was not in the happiest person.
Brian and I spent all day washing the kitchen. my mom came out and helped alot. We spent 3 days washing carpets and walls. To be honest it has not been fun... so we washed the carpets and they were still sticky and smelt really bad... so we did them again... I feel like we have been doing this forever. While all this was going on we go to sleep in the kitchen with the bed on the floor.
After all of this cleaning and unpacking I am happy to say that we are all moved in and enjoying our new home for the next 18 months.
